Give delegates one place to choose their sessions
A conference ticket gets someone into your event. Session booking answers the next question: which workshops, talks or breakout groups will they attend? When those choices are spread across forms and spreadsheets, it is hard to tell delegates whether a place is still available.
Confently gives each event an agenda that delegates can open on their phones. Sessions show their time, room, speakers and availability. Delegates sign in, choose a session and see whether their place is confirmed or waitlisted. Their choices appear together in My schedule.
Build an agenda around your rooms and streams
Start with your event dates and timezone, then add rooms and the streams that make up your programme. Create sessions individually or import an agenda CSV. You can mark keynotes, registration and breaks as items for everyone, so delegates do not have to reserve a place in each one.
Set the capacity for each bookable session according to the room layout you will actually use. A room with space for 80 people in rows may hold far fewer around workshop tables. Confently tracks bookings against the capacity you set; it does not determine a venue's safe occupancy for you.
Handle full sessions without a second spreadsheet
When a session is full, delegates can join its waitlist and see their position. Cancellations and capacity increases can release places to eligible delegates automatically. Organisers can monitor demand across sessions instead of maintaining separate lists by email.
See how conference waitlists work, including why promotion may skip someone whose confirmed booking clashes with the session.
Keep changes understandable on the day
Delegates are warned about overlapping choices when booking. If you later change a session's time, an impact preview shows affected bookings and any new clashes between confirmed sessions. Delegates can review overlapping bookings in My schedule and choose which place to keep.
Delegates can also save a copy of their schedule, rooms and QR pass for offline access. The copy shows when it was saved and must be saved again after changes. Organisers still need a connection to check current bookings and record attendance.
Work alongside your existing registration system
Confently focuses on session choices rather than selling admission tickets. Keep using your registration or ticketing platform. If only registered attendees should book, choose attendee-list access and add their email addresses. Delegates need to use the same email address when signing in.
Read the organiser setup guide for the complete workflow, or use the session planning checklist before you build your agenda.
